Nutrition—Fit for Real: Created in God’s Image, Not for Man-Made Junk
Ayo! It’s Muscle Dogg, and today we gotta talk about the fuel in your tank—nutrition.
Now listen…
God didn’t create us to live off artificial snacks, energy drinks, and drive-thru regret.
We were designed in His image—fearfully, wonderfully, intentionally.
But here’s the truth—sin distorted that.
It didn’t just mess up our hearts—it messed up how we treat our bodies.
And that includes how we eat.
Let’s break down how nutrition ties into identity, holiness, and healing.
Genesis 1:29 says:
“See, I have given you every herb that yields seed… and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.”
That means:
• God gave us food as fuel, not a trap.
• What He created was clean, natural, and nourishing.
• You weren’t made to run on junk—your body is premium grade.
God’s original meal plan wasn’t about counting calories—it was about living in alignment with His design.
What you eat affects how you think, move, and worship.
Let’s be real—
Ever crave something you know is bad for you?
Yeah. That’s more than habit. That’s the broken nature of sin talking.
Philippians 3:19 warns us:
“Their god is their belly… who set their mind on earthly things.”
That means:
• Sin didn’t just damage our spirit—it jacked up our cravings.
• We start worshiping comfort food instead of the God of comfort.
• What we run to in stress reveals what’s ruling us.
But here’s the grace—God didn’t leave us in food bondage.
He offers self-control as a fruit of the Spirit.
You don’t need another diet. You need a Savior guiding your appetite.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says:
“Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit… glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
That means:
• This body you’re in? It’s sacred space.
• Every bite you take is either building strength or breaking it down.
• Eating well isn’t vanity—it’s worship.
You don’t need perfection—just progression.
Every wise choice is a form of stewardship.
If you wouldn’t pour junk in your gas tank—why do it to your body?
God made you in His image—on purpose, with purpose.
Sin tried to steal your health and twist your appetite.
But through Jesus, you can be healed, restored, and retrained to crave what’s holy, healthy, and whole.
Next meal, next snack, next grocery run—ask:
Is this feeding my body or my feelings?
Does this glorify God or just gratify cravings?
Invite the Holy Spirit into your kitchen, not just your quiet time.
You weren’t created for chemicals, cravings, and chaos.
You were made for clarity, energy, and purpose.
Let Jesus renew your appetite.
Let your meals match your mission.
You are fit for real—not just to look good, but to live right.
Fuel up. Shine on. Honor God with every bite.
